In this article, you will gain an understanding of our points system, known as Droplets. Soon, we will be implementing rewards and utilities, providing even more benefits for our users.

Whether you are a lender or borrower, it’s possible to accumulate droplets in various ways, so read until the end to understand how to do it.

The rules of the Droplets:

• Lender side Liquidity provided in pool (the “available Amount”) = give 1 point per USD available
• Lender side Liquidity actually lent (the “borrowed Amount”) = give 1.5 points per USD lent
• Borrower side Liquidity borrowed by a user = give 2.25 points per USD borrowed

Example:

If you deposit 1000 USDC in a pool for 24h, and 500 USDC are being actively lent, you will earn every 24h :

• 500 * 1 for the liquidity waiting in your pool
• 500 * 1.5 = 750 per day for the liquidity actively lent by your pool (Earned at the end of the loan)
• The borrower will earn 500 * 2.25 = 1125 droplets per day (Earned at the end of the loan IF it’s repaid, in case the borrower get liquidated he won’t receive the droplets for this loan)

So you will earn 1250 new points per 24h as a lender because (500 * 1) + (500 * 1.5) = 1250

• The (500 * 1.5) is only for actives loan though, if after 3 days, loan is repaid, and you have a pool with 1000 USDC available, you get 1000 * 1 per 24h

If you are a borrower, you will earn 1125 droplets per day, as it is 2.25 times the amount borrowed (500)for 24 hours.

⚠️ Penalty for liquidations

If a loan is defaulted, the borrower won’t receive any droplets for it, the lender will though. Defaulting on a loan won’t affect the total droplets as opposed to before.
